Who we are
We are a group of researchers who have gathered around a research project called “ARTHUR” and we present the project and all related data on our website https://arthur.grad.hr. The website is hosted by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb, and is fully funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The website itself is for information purposes and is not intended to collect data in any form. In the event that you request contact by sending a message via e-mail, the system may record your first and last name, as well as the e-mail address that you may enter when sending it. We do not specifically collect this data for the purpose of collection, but use it as information that we will use to respond to your inquiry. It is possible that we will forward your message to one of our colleagues and collaborators on the project if the inquiry you sent requires their response, and who will use the same data to respond to your inquiry. Some pages on our website use links to third-party websites and if you will be using those sites, please review their Privacy Policy.
WordPress, in order to function, records technical information about visitors like browser type and operating system, referrer page, time and date of visit and browser language.
Comments
Although our web site is based on the WordPress CMS, it is not designed or functional as a blog and does not have the option of commenting on our posts in the News section (or any section). If you have comments or wish to contact anyone from the research team, you can do so with any of the offered communication methods via the Contact page or contact project leader via the information provided on the Teams page.
Media
Our website is not intended for commenting or for uploading any media content by anybody except us (project team).
Contact forms
Our web site does not offer the possibility of using any contact form. If you have comments or wish to contact anyone from the research team, you can do so with any of the offered communication methods via the Contact page or contact project leader via the information provided on the Teams page.
Cookies
Our website does not use cookies itself while the WordPress system, by default, generates three core types of cookies: user Authentication Cookies (stores admin authentication details, including username and password, used for the administration console), technical cookies (temporary, like session-based cookie used to verify that the browser has cookies enabled,) and comment cookies (which do not contain any information since commenting is not enabled). These cookies are categorized as “strictly necessary” and do not require user consent for compliance as they are needed for the website to function properly.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
Our website does not collect any analytics data and does not use any plugins for that purpose.
Who we share your data with
We do not share any of your personal data with anyone. An exception would be if we had to forward your possible inquiry to one of the team members in order to get the requested information, which we are unable to provide. In this case only, the data that would be shared would be your name and surname (if provided), e-mail address and the inquiry or message you sent to us.
How long we retain your data
Your data (name, surname and e-mail address) that came to us through direct mutual communication, remain (exclusively in our email clients for communication via e-mail) for as long as our mutual contacts last. Since we have no need to collect data, your data will be deleted over time (within 6 – 12 months) during regular system maintenance. An exception would be the mutually agreed continuation of communication and possible future cooperation.
Contact information
You can send all questions through the communication channels listed on the Contact page.
